LAS Pre-Health Advisors work with students with a range of interests in health care fields. Below are the most common educational goals that students indicate they are interested in. However, Advisors are happy to assist you with any health care field you may be interested in. This can include genetic counseling, sonography, dental assisting, anesthesiologist assistant, and more! If you are unsure which educational goal to declare, but want to make sure you are receiving access to LAS Pre-Health resources, please select "pre-med". You can always change your mind - including using this form to remove your educational goal.

- Pre-Nursing (select if you intend to apply to nursing after your 2nd or 3rd year at UIC)
- Post-Baccalaureate Nursing (select if you plan to graduate from UIC before earning your nursing degree through an advanced BSN, master’s entry nursing, etc)
- Pre-Nutrition/Registered Dietician
- Pre-Optometry (will appear in your degree audit as Pre-Medicine)
- Pre-Podiatry (will appear in your degree audit as Pre-Medicine)
