Letters of Recommendation Webinar Series
The Letters of Recommendation webinar series is a three-part sequence that takes pre-health students through the basics of Letters of Recommendation. Part 1 focuses on the basics of letters of recommendation, including what are they, what information should be included, who many are needed, and who should write an academic reference letter. Part 2 walks through tips on how to start to build relationships with faculty members. Handouts are available that include reminders as well as sample talking points and questions. In Part 3, the webinar covers how to best ask faculty for letters of recommendation. This includes specific information to include with your request to ensure a strong, personalized reference letter. A sample email guide is found in the handouts of Part 3.
Each part in the webinar series can be viewed as a stand alone topic. The webinars are short enough to be seen all in one sitting, but can also be watched on an information as needed basis!
